EQ'ing

Hey All,

I just listened to and threw my 2 cents up on a couple of mixes over at GearSlutz (Cool site):

One thing I noticed on some of the mixes was funky EQ'ing, by that I mean too much boost not enough cut.

One of the gnarly ways to get your mix kickin' is to use high and low pass filters to remove frequencies that are not neccesary for the mix to tell the story.
